if jellyfishes could think

January 29, 2009

if the Turritopsis Nutric could think and talk, she would explain the following to us:

Life is just as a bound  interval: you born at A and somehow you reach B, where you die.  Most of people’s concerns have been devoted to far as to make the segment unbounded: that is, how to postpone death, indefinitely.

But is it actually the best strategy? some myths suggest it is not.

Still, if removing a boundary does not work, there is another way not to hit the end line: as soon as one approaches it, it makes just much more sense to think about turning on one’s heels and walk back in the other direction.

Not revoleving the hands of time, but using time to grow youger (a la Benjamin Button), just to start again getting older as soon as one approaches the starting point of birth.

If this would be possible, death would be defeated with an eternal swing dance between death and youth, in a very ergodic set of living days.

being a football coach in Italy

January 28, 2009

football coach…yeah, those very masculine guys, almost always rude and badly dressed, with an autoritative presence, always surrounded by the players (men), the medical staff (men), the referees (men), the security (men).

It looks like for a coach’s wife there is little room for (heterosexual) jealousy.

or?

JR, suddenly realizing that by obtained what he longed for, he was involuntarily and permanently losing his beloved.
